Support Specialist – Lead Developer (Android and IOS)

Inteqna Toronto is recruiting for a Lead Developer-Support Specialist to join our client, one of the hottest companies in the WORLD in their Kitchener Waterloo offices.

Accountabilities:

• Provide technical and developer support to customers using Firebase products, solutions and APIs
• Identify and document product bugs and feature requests and work with internal support teams as well as customers to implement effective solutions
• Work closely with internal support teams to improve Firebase products at a senior level
• Resolve high-profile, real-time escalations and issues, improve the customer experience and drive initiatives

Requirements:

• Experienced in at least one of Java, JavaScript, ObjectiveC, NodeJS
• Experience with mobile applications development for IoS or Android
• Experience using SQL (any dialect) to extract and manipulate data
• Experience with MongoDB or other non-relational databases
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform or other Cloud platforms
• Experience with web protocols (such as HTTP, TLS, etc.), Web Services development and SSL Certificates
• Familiarity with cloud computing
• Ability to read and understand mobile applications code and able to write code samples to reproduce customer issues
• Strong troubleshooting skills including the ability to read and understand logs and stack traces, recognize trends in customer feedback and escalate issues
• Ability to research using internal knowledge bases and public-facing documentation
• Strong customer focus and soft-skills with demonstrable ability to empathize with the customer, manage expectations and be their voice to internal teams
• A strong sense of ownership with the ability to work with a cross-functional team of web developers and systems administrators serving both regional and international customers
• C1 level English Proficiency vetted through assessment during hiring process
• Experience with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS)
• Experience with services API development as well as creating REST and JSON APIs

Total Compensation Package:

• Salary range between $100-130K
